• AlAdhan (api.aladhan.com) —

• دسترسی به سایت‌ها: فقط api.aladhan.com، api.open-meteo.com و geocoding-api.open-meteo.com.

HUDA Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

HUDA replaces Chrome’s new tab page with a calendar, prayer times and a daily verse and hadith. It has no user accounts, no backend server of its own, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not sell or share any data.

What stays on your computer

Your settings, favorites, dhikr counts, Quran reading progress, the photos you choose and any Adhan audio you add are stored only in Chrome’s local storage on this computer (chrome.storage and IndexedDB) and are never transmitted. “Settings → Privacy → Clear all local data”, or removing the extension, deletes them.

Network requests

• AlAdhan (api.aladhan.com) — the selected city’s coordinates, time zone, date and calculation method, to get prayer times.
• Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com, geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) — the city’s coordinates for the weather, and the text you type when searching for a city.
• GitHub Pages (mostafashena.github.io) — one static file of publisher content (translation corrections, notices, occasions, defaults, default photos). Nothing about you is sent. It can be turned off in Settings.

Like any website, these services see your IP address. No worship data, browsing history or user identifier is ever sent.

Location

Your location is used only if you press “Detect my city”; otherwise it is never read. The coordinates are rounded to about 100 m, kept in local storage, and sent only to the two services above for prayer times and weather.

Permissions

• storage — keep the data above on your computer.
• alarms — schedule the Adhan and the reminder before it.
• notifications — show a notification at Adhan or reminder time, if enabled.
• geolocation — only when you press “Detect my city”, to find your city. The extension never reads your location on its own.
• Host access — only api.aladhan.com, api.open-meteo.com and geocoding-api.open-meteo.com.

The extension does not read your browsing history, the content of websites or your other tabs, and does not load executable code from the internet.

Children

HUDA collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
